Open Food Network shops use "order cycles" to organise the available products, usually with a fixed delivery date. However we only use the shop, with a single "perpetual" order cycle, to sell the meat that we have in stock right now. If you would like to pre-order something I don't have in stock, order a special cut such as a large rib of beef, or get added to our list to receive a fresh chicken every four weeks, please contact us directly.

Meat prices are by weight so the item prices shown here are approximate given the pack sizes will vary a little bit. Your invoice will show the exact amounts (and weights) of the items once I've picked them for you.

We freeze any meat within a day or two of getting it back from the butcher to preserve the freshness and ensure the longest life for the customer. Meat is vacuum-packed to exclude all air and ensure that no ice crystals can form when frozen, this means there is no deterioration in physical quality (freezer burn) and once defrosted you would never know that it had been frozen. Standard advice is that freezers should be set to -18C or colder and a use-by date of one year from when it was butchered is printed on the label.
